I participated in the Color Run with Adrian, Billy, Cathy, Ly, Sang, Steve, and Tony. Despite us waking up early, we did not get there until a little after 1000AM. We joined the crowd of people and started a little after the starting line. 😛
We ended up jogging/running mostly only during the beginning of the race. After passing the first two color stations, we pretty much walked the rest of the way. It was pretty fun since we kept trying to attack each other with color. I think Adrian and Ly had a little too much fun slapping me several times. 😛
Right before we reached the finish line, I decided to open my color packet (that was given during packet pick-up) and started tossing color at people. Everyone else around me started doing the same and it turned into chaos. Hahah! 🙂
After crossing the finish line:
At the Finish Festival:
It was like a little concert, but with no actual performances and tons of free stuff being thrown off stage. Several people in our group was able to catch some color packets and Tony caught a t-shirt!

As we were leaving:
Afterwards, we dusted ourselves off as well as we could. We went to Starbucks to buy some drinks and to get our parking validated where a ton of Color Runners were at as well. Then we met up at Savory Fried Chicken and ate super delicious Filipino food! We happily parted ways from there. Everyone went off to do their own thing and I ended up driving to Bay Point to spend the rest of my day with Adrian. 🙂
Overall, The Color Run was well worth my money. I went with the right group of people and it turned out to be super fun! I felt crazy dirty afterwards and my shoes are still colored, but it was all worth it. I can’t wait to go again or do something similar!
