Christmas Eve with Adrian

For the first time ever, I got to spend Christmas Eve with Adrian. I got off work at 0300PM and went straight to his house. When I arrived, he showed me the gift he made for me. It was his first time working on a canvas and he said he spent around 8 hours on it. It turned out beautiful!

Lo Paw Gift DREAM
Can you tell what it says? πŸ™‚

We ate dinner with his extended family. It was quite the feast and I got incredibly full. After a while, he opened the present I got for him.

We KOed afterwards. I ended up finally waking up again around 0100AM and made the drive back home. I miss him already!

  1. I JUST REALIZED WHAT THE CANVAS ART SAYS wow. I think I was convinced it was your names, so I kept trying to see “Adrian” and “Karen” but I was like “… this doesn’t seem right.” XD A few weeks later and I finally got it.

  2. What medium did Adrian use on your present? And was it layered? I’m trying to figure out how he did white splats without getting it on the letters =P

And is that a Christmas tree in the background?

You two are so in sync, your presents for each other are the same color!

    • He used spray paint! I can’t remember if he used paint markers, but the white splats were spray paint sprayed into a paint cap and he splashed them on. The background is actually a “village” set up his mom made with a bunch of buildings on snow! And we thought it was pretty funny it turned out to be the same colors as well. πŸ™‚
