Adrian, Cathy, and I went to Stinson Beach this past Sunday. After being stuck in traffic for a while only a mile away from the beach, we got lucky and found a parking spot in the beach parking lot before the beach started to get more crowded throughout the day. Stinson Beach was the perfect escape from the triple digit weather we were having in Sacramento.
Despite coming home a little sunburnt, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable little trip. If Cathy and I did not live so far away from the beaches, I am sure we would probably go a lot more often! If only….
After spending about 2 hours or so at the beach, we headed to Berkeley to meet up with Teresa and Shirley. We met at Indian Rock since Cathy and I wanted to check it out.
Indian Rock is literally a big rock in the middle of a neighborhood. Many people came here in groups and just chilled at top to enjoy the view. It was sunny, but breezy at the time we went. After climbing onto the rock, you are able to get a good (distant) view of the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge. It was pretty fun trying out different routes to get on top of the rock. There were even people bouldering!
Afterwards, we went to eat at Pieology. It was everyone’s first time trying the place out, so we did not know what to expect. It turned out to be a Chipotle-style making of pizza where you go down a line and choose what you want on your pizza. Pretty good deal for $7.95 since you got to choose any toppings you would like.
Before splitting ways, we grabbed boba from Sharetea. Why must all the good stuff be so far away from home?!
