After my Business Law midterm, Long came to pick me and Cathy up so we could head to Santa Cruz. Cathy and I randomly threw the idea out there about two weeks ago and Long was willing to drive, so the trip happened. YAY!

Our first stop was the Mystery Spot.

Cathy and I had tried going to the Mystery Spot with a group of friends before, but totally failed by not buying tickets ahead of time since they were sold out that day. But, we learned our lesson! So, the three of us managed to get in this time. πŸ˜›

The tour cost $6 and was a lot of fun. The tour guide had good energy and had a bunch of cheesy and punny jokes, which I loved! However, I didn’t realize the area to explore was kind of small. (Literally, a “spot.”) When looking at other people’s photos, it seemed like there was more to do, but there wasn’t.

We stopped by Pono Hawaiian Grill / Reef Bar & RestaurantΒ for food. (They share the same space.)

Long brought us to Davenport Beach, which I had wanted to visit for a while since seeing photos of the place on my friends’ feeds. It was truly a treat since we went there solely for the sunset and got to see a beautiful one. πŸ™‚

It was funny and cool to see a handful of photographers all stationed for photos. πŸ™‚

How can you not love this view?

Saturday well spent. πŸ˜€
