During my freshman year, I fell in love with the Imaginary Zebra brand and was super into blogging. Nicole was one of the common commenters on the Imaginary Zebra/Benson’s blog and we ended up connecting with each other. It has been years since we started chatting, but we have remained contact over the years. She is a total sweetheart and I am happy to call her a friend. 🙂 #BlogFriendsAreRealFriends
Cathy and I wanted to visit Nicole in Santa Barbara before she graduated. I invited Ly who brought her cousin Stephanie along and we ended up spending the weekend checking out the city.
The four of us flew to LAX and rented a car for the drive. (Thank you for driving, Ly!) After we landed, we went to eat at Roscoe’s. It was delicious!
Ly dropped Cathy and me off at Nicole’s apartment. Upon arrival, Nicole was in the process of baking cookies. 😀
The next morning, Nicole curled my hair!
Ly and Stephanie picked us up. We went to eat at El Encanto Dining Room. We wanted to do high tea, but we were too early and we had to make reservations. Failed a little on the research, but it turned out just fine.
Some lovely snaps from Nicole:
We went shopping around Paseo Nuevo afterwards.
We had some talks about a selfie stick over the weekend, so Cathy and I surprised Nicole with a selfie stick!
Nicole introduced us to Pacific Crepes. Bomb!
Nicole talked about wanting to get her second lobe piercing. Cathy was willing to do it too, so they actually went for it.
Ly and Stephanie dropped us off for the night. Cathy, Nicole, and I ate at Sorriso Italiano for dinner. The place looked like a fast food joint, but it wasn’t exactly. Food wasn’t shabs!
Nicole found excuses to use her selfie stick. Haha! 🙂
She also baked more cookies!
Before we left the apartment, we went on a photo taking spree. 🙂
Ly and Stephanie picked us up for our last day in Santa Barbara. We went to see Stearns Wharf.
It was a super fun weekend with Nicole and I hope we can hang out again over the summer. 🙂
